Mao Daqing (born 1969, in Beijing), is the post-doctor of regional economics in Peking University, visiting professor of University of International Business and Economics, visiting professor of School of Continuing Education Tsinghua University, specially- appointed professor of Southeast University Architecture Department, visiting professor of Chinese Academy of Science MBA Central, extramural instructor of Peking University Law School, Honorary Member of RICS and registered architect.

In 1992, Mao assumed the office of senior planner in Saha Pathanapibul, Thailand. In 2000, he served as the chief delegate in Beijing Office of the Ascott Group, Singapore. In 2002, he was the deputy general manager of Singapore CapitaLand, Beijing Office. In 2009, he became the vice-president of Vanke Group and the general manager of Vanke Group, Beijing office.

On 1 January, 2015, Mao held the post of CEO for Vanke Beijing and Beijing company president. However, in March, 2015, he quitted his job.

On 17 April, 2015, Mao made his entrepreneurship program "URwork" known to the public.
